YOUR BANK IS YOUR BEST FRIEND
CLUELESS SAYS
My daddy always told me me
your bank is your best friend
Saving money is the key!
when your at dires end
So I’ thought out a lot of ways
that saving works for me.
Today, in fact, I saved some cash;
and to the bank it went
I would have spent, on some thing
which i really did not need
If used it for some candy,
I know I would be glad
my bank and my dad.
would have been very sad
again I found money
in a long forgotten purse
So I saved them all
AND COLLECTED MORE
AND NOW MY BANK ACCOUNT
HAS BEGUN TO GROW
I know a lot of saving tricks,
that might be boring to you
Instead just send me all your cash.
I’ll gladly save it for you!
now I know in my time of need
there is one best friend I know
who would never ever turn me down
but would help me more and more
I did say my bank
is my best friend
it can be yours too .
save for a rainy day.
YOU WILL HAVE YOUR FRIEND,
COME WHAT MAY

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL
A year ago, Vogue Italia made history with its July issue, which featured an all-black cast of models. That issue wasn't created in a vacuum. Editors at the magazine made their gutsy (but ultimately lucrative) decision after critics, noting the absence of models of color on the runway and in magazines, began calling attention to the racial disparities in the world of high fashion. Vogue Italia was supposed to herald the beginning of a new era, one in which black models are just as in demand as white
CLUELESS SAYS-----
I am a brown girl, and grew up with a complex that white girls had a better chance to achieve their dreams, than a dark skinned girl, Like me there are plenty of dark girls all over the world with the same feelings.
We are not less, we have the talent, the looks and the aptitude to achieve any thing we want if given a chance,.and the color of skin was not a requirement
This attitude, in my honest opinion is a male issue ,for if you look at marriage adds, "wanted a fair bride,' though the men placing these adds are dark them selves.
Take the add makers, of fair and lovely, it is amusing to see a fair model applying cream and in a few days she is supposed to be even fairer, and gets what she want,, these types of adds in my opinion should be banned,as dark girls are getting a complex, there should be more black is beautiful adds to balance the equation.
Men wake up, a girl does not have a white skin to be beautiful, A dark skinned girl is beautiful sexy and intelligent too , SO NEXT TIME A YOUNG MAN IS LOOKING FOR A GIRL, LEAVE OUT THE COLOR OF HER SKIN, AND LOOK FOR THE INNER BEAUTY

A PICTURE SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORDS
Not content to merely use traditional symmetry as a way of creating balance, the artist has opted for the asymmetry common in modern art, as well as modern architecture. The quality of the facial features shows us that we are looking at true outsider art, perhaps the work of a retarded person, a monkey, or a homeless man...or Danny Spitz and his googly eye. Reminiscent of Mies Van Der Rohe's early floorplans, the characters slide past each other, much like walls did in his Barcelona Pavillion. Somewhere between abstraction and respresentational painting, this piece not only challenges, but also shatters pre-existing notions about art and artistic depiction. Had this guy been around when Demolition Hammer was putting out their first album, he totally would have gotten the comission.
BEAUTY IN THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER

There is beauty in the child's innocence and in mother's love
There is beauty in a friend's affection and in a tender heart
There is beauty in a pretty smile and caring eyes
There is beauty in the morning sun and a rainy day
There is beauty in the flaky slow and a pleasant spring
There is beauty in the milky moon and the graceful rivers
There is beauty in a hard earned victory and a hopeful soul
There is beauty in me and beauty in you
So many beauties in this spectacular world and its dazzling life
And the true beauty lies in the beholder's eyes

A POEM BY ROBERT FROST
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there's some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

WE ALWAYS INTEND TO CHOOSE THE EASIER ROAD

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST TOUGH PEOPLE DO
If I can endure for this minute
Whatever is happening to me,
No matter how heavy my heart is
Or how dark the moment may be-
If I can remain calm and quiet
With all the world crashing about me,
Secure in the knowledge God loves me
When everyone else seems to doubt me-
If I can but keep on believing
What I know in my heart to be true,
That darkness will fade with the morning
And that this will pass away, too-
Then nothing in life can defeat me
For as long as this knowledge remains
I can suffer whatever is happening
For I know God will break all of the chains
That are binding me tight in the darkness
And trying to fill me with fear-
For there is no night without dawning
And I know that my morning is near...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hang the wash outside.
That laundry is not very clean, she said, she doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.
Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: "Look! She has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this."
the husband said"I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows!"
And so is it with life
"What we see when watching others depends on the purity of the window through which we look.it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask ourselves if we are ready to s th good rather than be looking for some thing in that person we are about to judge
The things we see may be right, from our perspective, until we know the truth. But when we know the truth, our reaction to that will hurt even us. So try to understand the problem better before taking a harsh action.

A MOTHERS LOVE .IS VERY PRECIOUS
You need faith to believe in Christ, but anyone can place hope in the power of a mother's love.
A Mother's Love
This world has jewels, money, land
position, power, and mansions grand
But a mother's love more precious far,
than all these other treasures are.
A mother nurtures, guides, protects
Her teachings each child's life affects,
and when in later years they go,
away from home, and friends they know
Those teachings will provide the stay,
to keep them on the good straight way.
Though some may stray to taste the fruits,
of worldly pleasures -- still the roots
of Mother's teachings, love, and care
will some day draw them back to where,
the Savior's love can them enfold,
and fill them with a spirit bold.
So children, each and every day,
honor your mother in some way --
To show that you appreciate,
she taught you how to love, not hate.
To comfort you, to guide, to lead,
to be there in your time of need.
But best of all, -- to show the way,
that leads to home with God some day.

A MOTHERS LOVE IS THE MOST CHERISHED THING ON EARTH, BUT THERE ARE A FEW WHO FORGET THEIR MOTHER, AND NEGLECT HER WHEN SHE NEEDS HER KIDS MOST, A MOM HIDES HER TEARS AND HER FEARS, DONOT TURN YOUR BACK ON THE ONE THAT LOVES YOU THE MOST.
YOU HAVE A MOM .TREAT HER WITH CARE
FOR YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HER VALUE

TERROR ATTACKS
Is War, the only way to respond to mumbai attacks. Dec 4, 2008 @ 12:31 AM PST
cluelessnan said:
The war on terror, people screaming for war, will it really settle the issue of terror. People are angry at what happened in Mumbai, people are in grief, and people are confused, but there is a very dark side to war, more innocents, are going to die ,and more of the earth is going to be destroyed. The war between two countries should not escalate into a world war.with countries taking sides and nuclear weapons being used, instead we should concentrate on how to safe guard our country. by securing our boarder, our air ways and seaways. Educating our youth and children from a very early age, to respect each others religion and caste, because that is the root of all conflicts, our internal communal problems effect the out side world as well, and when we stand divided and destroy mosques and temples, the symbols of religion and faith, a greater destruction is ocuring in the mind of people, of hate and destruction. The media plays a very important part in the lives of people and some times its good and sometimes its bad, media is a source of information and there should be some restraint during attacks, if cameras are focused on the spot and relaying minute by minute details it is an advantage to the terrorist who is getting first hand information, after all they were well equipped, and knew the every move of our positions.that is why the attack in Mumbai Taj took so many hours. our security equipment needs to be updated, it was awful to see on t.v footage, a policeman, gun getting jammed and he had to run away. finally, we have to think that we are Indians first before we call our selves north south east or west Indians ,or Christians ,Hindus, Muslims, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT IS DIVIDING US, and we find communal riots on our streets, taxis and property being destroyed, lives being destroyed, our internals problems are being viewed by the whole world and thats when the outsider takes advantage. One Nation One people. UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL.

CHALLENGES

The Serenity Prayer
God grant me the Serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference.
Words To Live By
It's not how much you accomplish in life
that really counts,
but how much you give to other.
It's not how high you build your dreams
that makes a difference,
but how high your faith can climb.
It's not how many goals you reach,
but how many lives you touch.
It's not who you know that matters,
but who you are inside.
Believe in the impossible,
hold tight to the incredible,
and live each day to its fullest potential.
You can make a difference
in your world.

Within You Is The Strength
To Meet Life's Challenges!
You are stronger than you think,
remember to stand tall.
Every challenge in your life
helps you to grow.
Every problem you encounter
strengthens your mind and your soul.
Every trouble you overcome
increases your understanding of life.
When all your troubles weigh
heavily on your shoulders,
remember that beneath the burden
you can stand tall,
because you are never given
more than you can handle...
and you are stronger than you think.
